Halltech Killer Bee™ II is our second generation Killer Bee™, which features many improvements over the Killer Bee™. Katech Engine Development Dyno Cell #2 provided stunning numbers never before seen with an intake system. +15 HP gain over the stock LS7 GM intake. Fits all C6 Corvettes including the 05-07 C6 LS2* The primary difference is that the inlet side of the Killer Bee II™ has been increased from 98mm to 107mm with a 4.5" o.d. flange and 4.2" i.d. The outlet side of the Killer Bee™ II is a full 102.5mm. No reprogramming is required at all for this intake system unless you plan on using it with the 05-07 LS2 C6. If you do decide to tune, count on +33 RWHP shown in the dyno. The Mass Air Flow sensor mount is now a one piece integrated part of the Killer Bee™ II, uses the stock screws, has no steps, and is 103mm MAF Read Area. The unit is now .150" thick or 50% thicker than the Killer Bee™ for improved strength and resistance to heat distortion. There has been substantial reshaping of the floor of the Killer Bee™ II for improved flow numbers and velocity, which shows up at high rpm on bigger motors. The new Halltech filter is 15" wide vs. 14" wide, with much better fitment under the Beehive™. The neck of the filter is 3/4" longer than the old filter to allow the bridge maximum insertion (1.75") depth. The filter flange now features a full Bellmouth full radius velocity stack for maximum high velocity at high rpm and smooth laminar airflow at the MAF sensor. Our ISO 5011 Tested low restriction filter media outflows the previous filter by 25%, with more surface area than its predecessor, and a better fit under the Beehive™. The Beehive™ is an integral component and included with all Killer Bee™ II systems to avoid loss of power due to heat soak and IAT issues causing timing reduction. NO TUNING REQUIRED. Only the 05-07 LS2 will require our Mass Airflow Conversion Kit, and e-mailtune® to recalibrate the MAF tables. Select the conversion package under Accessories for 05-07 C6s.
