Step 2
-
Drill a starter hole, using a small diameter drill bit, at the center punch location.
-
Drill increasingly larger holes, testing the fitting along the way, until you can fit the 3/8 inch bolt through the hole in the front clip frame rail.
Step 3
-
The "FattDaddy" rig will install on the inside of the front clip frame rails, so that both units are inside of the frame rail.
-
To install the "FattDaddy", grasp the rig in your hand and push up on the facia until the extended part of the bolt will pass through the hole you drilled.
-
Place the washer on the part of the bolt that comes out the other side of the frame rail, and than put on the lock nut. (You can add thread locker to the end of the bolt for added security if you wish)
Step 4
-
Tighten the bolt until there is light pressure on the wheel.
-
Your wheel should turn with light pressure, but not spin freely.
